Each chasen is individually hand-carved using traditional Japanese techniques, carefully splitting a single piece of bamboo into fine tines.
Its handcrafted construction and flexible tines allow for more precise whisking and a smoother, more even texture. As each chasen is made from natural bamboo, slight variations in color, shape, and finish may occur.

Before using it, soak the tips of the chasen in hot water so they open properly and do not break.

After each use, rinse only the tips with clean water, without detergent, and remove any excess water before leaving it to air dry. We recommend using a whisk holder to help maintain its shape.
